Lintire is an internationally-operating company specialised in collecting and circularly processing worn passenger car tires.
Lintire was founded in 1981 . The company initially started in Montfoort, and relocated to Vianen in 2003.
Over the years, Lintire has actively worked on developing recycling and circular processing technologies. And in 1996 Lintire started optimising its logistics and producing shreds for industrial applications.
In 2015 , Lintire and Black Bear Carbon founded the company, Dutch Green Carbon. Dutch Green Carbon is based in Nederweert in the Netherlands, and it is specialised in the circular recycling of rejected tires using the so-called pyrolysis technique.
Dutch Green Carbon was awarded a prestigious automotive innovation award for its innovations in 2017.
Since 2016, Lintire has focused, in collaboration with Kargro Recycling and the University of Twente, on research into the use of de-vulcanisation techniques.
The development of sustainable processing techniques and producing high-quality products has been a more or less necessary choice for Lintires business.
